“The Cufflinks Collector” by Sciens Srl Uninominale deals in curated, pre-owned accessories. Patina and age-consistent signs are photographed and described and are considered part of the item’s character (they do not constitute a lack of conformity).

1) Legal guarantee (used goods)

We provide the EU legal guarantee of conformity. It covers only lack of conformity existing at delivery and becoming apparent later.
Duration: 12 months from delivery for pre-owned goods. No commercial/manufacturer warranty is offered in addition to this legal guarantee.

Remedies (our choice, free of charge in conformity cases):

• Repair or replacement where possible and proportionate; if impossible for unique vintage items, price reduction or refund.
• In conformity cases we bear necessary costs (standard shipping only).

What is not covered (examples):
Damage after delivery (misuse, impacts, improper cleaning/polishing), normal wear, or any condition disclosed in the listing. The legal guarantee does not cover customer-caused damage.

How to claim:
Email info@thecufflinkscollector.it within 2 months of discovering the issue, attaching order number and photos. We may request inspection and will confirm the remedy. (Within the first 12 months, lack of conformity is generally presumed to have existed at delivery unless proved otherwise.)

2) Right of withdrawal (distance sales)

You may withdraw within 14 days of delivery without reason. For change-of-mind returns:

• Return shipping, packaging, insurance and any customs/duties are at the customer’s expense.
• You must send the goods back within 14 days of your withdrawal notice.
• We may reduce the refund for any diminished value due to handling beyond what is necessary to check nature/characteristics/functioning.
• Personalised/engraved items may be excluded where permitted by law.

Important: For non-conformity (guarantee cases), we cover return costs and provide a label; for withdrawal, costs are the customer’s responsibility. We refund within statutory time limits and may withhold the refund until the goods are received or proof of return is provided.

3) Return conditions (all returns)

• Returns must be pre-authorised via email; we will provide RMA instructions.
• Items must be returned complete, safely packed, and in the same condition as received.
• Risk of loss/damage during a customer-arranged return lies with the customer until delivery to us (use adequate packaging and tracked/insured service).
• We reimburse standard shipping only in conformity cases; express/upgrade options are non-refundable.
